Some of the top Bollywood flicks are COPIES !

It seems Bollywood is taking the Chinese route to success. Have a keen look at some Bollywood's recent flicks, and you'll find most of them more or less copies of either foreign or regional films. Let me highlight the top three Bollywood movies that ruled the box office for weeks.....

Dhoom 2
I'm not saying that the whole movie is a spoof. But there were rumours that stunt artists were called in from Hollywood. Have a look at the last part of the film when Abhishek Bachhan and Uday Chopra chase Hrithik Roshan on a bike. If you have seen Mission Impossible 2, you'll know better what's going on. The moves have been literally copied. The only difference is, in this movie, two heroes chase a vilian, while in Mission Impossible 2, only Ethan Hunt(Tom Cruise) was by chased Sean Ambrose(Dougray Scott) and Ethan was the hero. A big blow for Hindi action fans!

I can say this film has reached the pinacle of copying! It's just the hind version of Hitch, the Will Smith starrer. In this movie Salman Khan plays the Love-Guru. This movie is fully the same, only that Govinda plays a much comic role. The rest, including the gimmicks, are the same. It's surprising how a director like David Dhawan can accept such a movie. But the humour is comparatively better(now that is some David Dhawan stuff!).

Zinda
A typical Sanjay Gupta movie, which he claims is in loving memory of one of his favourite South Korean films, Oldeboy, has some scenes exactly same as Oldeboy, especially the blood spilling on the keyboard(sounds pretty violent, doesn't it?). The story, the scenes, the bloodshed, almost the same. Although this movie didn't make it that big, its music was awesome. Overall, this action flick atleast captured some attention.

Quake 3 Arena : Best in all aspects?

You have taken the lead! I muttered when I just finished playing this game. I feel that this game is really one of the best as it scores above rest in most of the aspects which I consider i.e the graphics, theme or the story, the models, and the most important, system compatibility. I believe that this is the major problem which the most of the games face; if a game has some great texture, it loses in system compatibility. Now, I have a 7 year old computer( Pentium III 500MHz ) in which mostly all the games run with some latency. But Quake 3 ran comparatively well with very less latency. As I said earlier, this game has a great theme, you need to kill your opponents to reach the frag limit. The one who reaches this limit, wins. Other categories include a team deathmatch, in which your team has to reach the frag limit before the opposing team, a one-on-one tournament and 'capture the flag'. All this plus the fictitious guns, the character models, make it look like a real battling arena. It has definitely taken a lead in my game rankings. And yours?

Harry Potter versus James Bond

The controversy is back again! This time with a greater tang. Harry Potter or James Bond. Who is a greater action superhero? For kiddos (or for some adult kiddos...lol), its got to be HarPo while for most adults, especially girls and spy freaks, James Bond is the feasible option.

James Bond is voted the best action superhero even above hot favourites like Superman, Batman and all other mans..hehe......but Harry Potter rakes in a record USD 4.47 billion ahead of James Bond (USD 4.44 billion).....but I have the justification for that for being a James Bond fan...

I would certainly vote for the MI:6 agent. Although Harry has a wand, has those wierd eyes with perfectly round spectacles, James Bond has that charisma which even Harry can't possess...after all he isn't human, he's a wizard!

What do YOU think?

That's Kewl ! ! !

Yeahh ! Aston Martin, one of the best automobile major has been voted as the coolest brand in the United Kingdom, in a survey conducted by CoolBrands. The car company even beat today's hottest selling electronic item, Apple's iPod! Well, some of them (even me) give the credit to James Bond label it has got. For more click this link below :

Craig shaken! For sure!

Daniel Craig, the new-Bond-on-the-block, is supposed to be literally shaken by his girlfriend, film producer Satsuki Mitchell. According to media rumours, both of them got engaged in this summer vacation. He supposedly proposed to her during a holiday in Italy. They might be planning to marry very soon. She would be his second wife, his first wife being Fiona Louden, a British actress.

Shaken??Are You??
